Cocktails for a Cause

Maui Thing and South Shore Tiki Lounge raised over $500 for the Kihei Youth Center last night! Thanks to everyone that came out in support of a worthy cause. Special thanks to Erin Smith for gracing us with her music, Malia Rodrigues and Saedene Ota from Maui Thing as well as Maggie from Bohemia Boutique and Holly from Summer House who contributed prizes for the raffle.

Do it for the Kids!

The Kihei Youth Center provides recreational activities, educational programs, cultural enrichment/ appreciation programs, leadership projects and family-oriented community events. They help over 500 kids from 8 to 17 years old in a year. In partnership with Maui Thing clothing company, the South Shore Tiki Lounge is holding an all day benefit on June 10 to raise money for this wonderful organization. Erin Smith is also donating her talent and will be performing from 8-10pm.

A donation of any kind on June 10 will be priceless to the families and kids of Kihei!

Maui News Takes Notice

Carla Tracy, editor of the Dining Section of the Maui News had never been to the South Shore Tiki Lounge, so we invited her to try our food and she quickly took us up on the offer. Some may look at our menu and think, “Oh, it’s just bar food.” But we are very proud of the little things we do to make our food a bit healthier and more gourmet than most. Sounds like Carla took notice!
