South Shore Tiki Lounge Re-Opens for Dine-In Service Friday, June 5, 2020

South Shore Tiki Lounge will re-open on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at Noon for Dine-In Service. Our lanai provides a safe, open-air dining experience and we’ve added even more outdoor seating on our sidewalk extending off the lanai.

We are excited to be back offering the same great food, cocktails, and atmosphere while also practicing protocol required by the Department of Health for a safe and friendly service.

Our priority is the safety of our staff and guests, so be advised:

  • Please stay home if you’re exhibiting symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath)
  • Masks are required, except while seated and eating
  • Please practice social distancing at all times
  • We encourage viewing our menu online at southshoretiki.com and credit card payments to help limit contact.

South Shore Tiki Lounge has installed these changes:

  • Staff will be screened prior to each shift and any employee with signs of illness will not report to work
  • Tables have been spaced 6 feet apart on our lanai
  • Maximum capacity of 12 people inside the bar
  • Staff are required to wear masks
  • Tables, seating, menus, and checkbooks will be thoroughly sanitized between guests
  • High-touch areas will be regularly sanitized

We are offering a limited menu to start, with a goal to our regular menu later this summer. Bear with us as we develop new habits and manage a new reality!

We look forward to serving you and being with our community again.

South Shore Tiki Lounge Closed 3/18/20

Aloha Tiki Ohana 🌺 In consideration of Governor Ige’s request on March 17, 2020 that bars close for the safety of the community and staff, we have made the very difficult decision to close effective immediately. Stay tuned for updates on our reopening and some virtual happy hours 🍻🍹Mahalo for all your support!

3 Reasons to SHOP SMALL this Year

South Shore Tiki Lounge is a locally-owned business and we are proud to be a part of Shop Small Maui. If you’re interested in supporting local this holiday season, click here to find other participating local businesses. Here’s why it matters:

What’s Earned Here, Stays Here
Local shops employ local residents, which means more job opportunities and income within our community. When you SHOP SMALL instead of online, more sales tax is generated by your favorite local stores, which can then be used to improve our own community. By shopping at independently-owned small businesses, you are also supporting other local businesses such as attorneys, tax preparers, architects, printers, etc., who support our small business owners.

It’s a Kākou Thing
When our local businesses thrive, the entire community thrives! From hosting book groups to craft classes and free keiki events, Maui’s small businesses serve as community hubs that bring friends and family together. They also keep our economy humming by supporting local artists, food producers, and manufacturers.

Mālama Mother Earth
Shopping locally helps cut down on processing, packaging and transportation waste, leading to less pollution. Also, locally grown food is likely to contain more nutrients and has less packaging.

We’re On a Boat!

The hectic holidays are upon us and you don’t get many days off if you’re in the service industry. We decided to take a day off before the busy time hit and enjoy a sunset sail on Trilogy Excursions as our staff holiday party. If you’re looking for a boat trip on Maui, we recommend Trilogy! We’ve used them on a few occasions over the years and have always had a great time. Captain Katie and her crew on the Trilogy II were attentive and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on (and in!) the water.

If you’re looking for a place to host your staff holiday party, choose the South Shore Tiki Lounge with the friendliest staff on the island! We will make sure your staff has a blast. Check out our menu and learn more about us here.
