More about Maui Memorial Center Foundation:
When the late Richard North, a Kihei resident, passed away in 1995, he was so moved by the care he received at Maui Memorial Medical Center he bequeathed a sizable portion of his estate to benefit the hospital. This generous gift planted the seed that created the Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting MMMC in its mission, development, and provision of medical care. Maui Memorial is the only full-service, acute care hospital in Maui County.
Thanks to generous donors, an active Board, staff and volunteers, your Foundation continues to support:
- State-of-the-art life saving medical equipment purchases
- Capital building and expansion projects
- Financial assistance for MMMC’s clinical staff education
- Patient care programs
- Community outreach and health preventative programs
- Cancer prevention programs
